I was a "Good" girl yesterday....ate less than my 1800 calorie allowance. I ended up being out most of the late afternoon...not getting home til 6:30. So I had a quick snack of honeycrisp apple slices & a few popchips corn chips. While I was out I opened a box of Funables fruity snacks I had just purchased & ate one packet. I like gummy style candies but they add up in calories pretty fast so I thought I'd try these. They're 60 calories for a serving but not a lot in the package.

I've been trying to head off a UTI for a few days by drinking lots of fluids. Sometimes that works but I could tell it wasn't getting any better so decided to call my doctor's office. I had to go in & leave a "Specimen" then wait for my doctor to look at the results & call in antibiotics. The nurse told me it would probably be after his last patient before he'd get a chance to do it. I had already planned to pick up a few things at Wal-Mart & go by the Library for a book I had on hold. Figured I could kill time & pick up the prescription before I went home. It ended up being 2 1/2 hours before I walked back in the door at home. It was raining or I could have taken a walk down town. My feet were freezing from walking around the grocery area (need to remember to wear socks now that the weather is cooling) & I was tired. Good new is the antibiotics kicked in fast & I already felt better before bedtime.

We've been watching the World Series after dinner...I'm an Atlanta Fan. Last night we watched Football...Green Bay against the Cardinals. Sometimes I can take sports or leave it. The football game was a good one...I actually spent as much time watching it as reading my book...multi tasking 😁🏈📺📚👓

It's raining again today. Catching up with laundry & housework.
