I worked in the gardens for awhile today. Still weeding & doing cleanup. I'm feeling anxious to plant flowers but we still have at least one day forecast below freezing this week. Lots of perennials have leafed out & trees, too. The Dogwoods are starting. I hope the cold doesn't damage anything. I have a big bag of caladium bulbs to plant, but they like the ground to be warm. Soon....
Today is sunny but slightly cooler. More of the same tomorrow then rain late & on Wednesday. That's what is bringing in the cold.
I put peanuts out 3 times this morning ☺🐿🐦🥜🥜🥜 The squirrels & birds kept coming looking for more so I humored them. We've also seen the wrens about. They have built a nest in the birdhouse outside the window. We'll see if that's where they choose to lay their eggs.
I've marinated a pork tenderloin for dinner. I just need to decide which veggies to cook. There are several choices in the fridge.
