I'm finally getting around to logging my weight today. I was up but not surprised & not really unhappy. Book Club was lots of fun last night. We had great conversation & discussion. And the food....worth every calorie 😋 Beef bourguignon to die for....homemade bread....Caprese Salad & 2 other veggie filled salads. I brought a salad made with baby arugula & spinach, oven grilled asparagus, toasted pecans & goat cheese dressed with a lemon balsamic dressing. And there were mashed sweet potatoes. There was pate', baked brie, cream cheese stuffed peppers & other delectable appetizers. Lots of French wines & desserts....macrons, petifores, cheese cake & mini eclairs 😊😀 Yum! I didn't eat too much of anything but sampled most everything.
Today I spontaneously decided to participate in an acrylic painting class with a couple of friends. It was from 1 to 4 PM & my friend needed to run an errand after so I skipped lunch. We decided to grab the husbands & try a new Pizza resteraunt. Our waitress was delightful & my 2 slices of Greek pizza were delicious. I debated eating a 3rd slice but I was feeling satisfied so we brought 4 slices home. 😊
