I think I may have really shaken things up when I ate more during the holidays. I did go back & analyze it a little and discovered that although I did eat more every week in December I only exceeded my RDI by a little most weeks. Now, I had been eating under my RDI previously.
Now that I have cut back some, I'm losing without having to go under my RDI considerably. I have been mixing up my breakfast choices a little. I still eat fresh fruit but yesterday did cheesy scrambled eggs.
I have been doing stuff around the house, up on my feet. Need to keep doing that. And I mentioned in Fritzy's journal post I should get out of the neighborhood for some of our afternoon walks. We used to put the dogs in the truck & go walk a few different places....around a local small lake or the park trails. We haven't done that in awhile...probably because I got lazy & wasn't walking much at all. My hubby has had some problems with arthritic ankle pain so that may have contributed as well.
Only 2.6 lbs. from goal today! 😀 I started this endeavour back in July (for the umpteenth time) trying to get ready for an August beach trip. I was thinking in the past couple of days the best time to start getting "Beach Body ready" is in January 😊 Now my mindset is to maintain a healthier weight all year long.

Absolutely terrific! Yes, I think a little more freedom over the holidays did my body some good also. It seems happier to let go of some pounds that kept bothering me. 😁👍
