Misled, the nice thing about making your own homemade soup is you can add whatever ingredients you like. I happen to like all the ones I included and they added their own special flavors.

Likat, I actually said in my journal today it was the consistency of a stew. I added some orzo that absorbed a lot of the broth. Still lots of flavor 😋

Sherryeb I meant no offense. I like roast and potatoes but have never liked carrots and no kind of peppers. I didn't like asparagus until this year. I suppose I should try a green bean, brocoli meat and potatoes. I would probably lose some weight too.

Misled, no offense on my part either. We can all choose our favorite veggies in tasty combinations to lose weight and stay healthy.
